Kia ora koutou,

What a ride! Not only was our trail ride an amazing opportunity for riders to explore some of our stunning Omihi countryside, but it was also such a special community event. To see our parents come together to create the track, set up for the day, take registrations, check spark arrestors, run the BBQ, and many more tasks on the day was truly special. I feel lucky to be in such a supportive community and our trail ride had such a positive vibe.

We had numerous comments from riders about how much they loved the track and the scenery and that they will be back next year! So a big thank you to our sponsors Canterbury Honda who helped us make this happen. Also to our landowners - Stronachs and Turnbulls - who let us use their beautiful land. Thanks to Amuri Net who set up Wi-Fi on the day, Craig and Andy for leading the set up of the track, Sofia for leading the BBQ, and all of our parents who were involved in some way, Bryleigh who worked hard in the lead up to it, and to our riders who came and supported our school. See you next year!

In term one we have our Food Truck Friday event on Friday 6th March. This is a community event, not a fundraiser, and we are excited to be collaborating with Farmstrong for this event. We are still looking for one more food truck, please let us know if you know of anyone we could approach.
